Based on my personal experience, I have found the WCA organization to be unreliable in ways that affect privacy, personal safety, fairness, and both transparency and proper handling of incidents. In my experience, none of these incidents have been publicly documented.

I recommend that others exercise caution when relying on the WCA for any purpose, including attending WCA-sanctioned competitions, authentication, or organizational matters. This reflects my personal perspective and experience.
